As a self-described collector – judgment, taste and imagination are the ingredients found at the center of Ariene’s design approach. Her flair was ignited by growing up in a home filled with art and culture, which has influenced her casual collected style and playful use of patterns and colors. Her intentional technique of mixing vintage, modern, patterns and color to create bold, culturally inspired designs, has received recognition from Domino, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Veranda, New York Times, Essence Magazine and Architectural Digest.

Melissa Herriott
A trip home to Western NY for her 20-year high school reunion inspired Melissa to start painting again. She thought art would be something she created as a hobby; a way to de-stress from Corporate America. She started sharing my paintings on social media and the rest, as they say, is history. M. Herriott Art was 2 1/2 years old when the interior design aspect of her business was born.
